Surf Lessons
Group Lessons are great for those just getting started. Semi-private Lessons is great for smaller groups of 2-3 people. Private Lessons are great for more advanced surfers looking for one-on-one attention. Lessons include surfboards, rash guards and access to a safe storage room. We have you covered!

Your Surfing Guide!
When you book a lesson at Salty Sols Surf School you can be sure you are in good hands. Eric, our founder, has a passion for surfing as well as teaching people—and that combination has earned the trust of many clients over the years on the beaches of Costa Rica.
Eric’s passion for surfing and people has allowed him to become a sought-after surf instructor in Tamarindo. His experience and people skills make all of his clients, (children and adults alike), feel comfortable and ready to have fun as they learn the necessary skills to catch their first waves.

Tamarindo Tour – $65 per person for a 3 hour tour
Secret Beach (w/Transportation) – $90 per person
Paddleboard Tour Details:
Our Standup Paddleboard tours are for complete beginners or anyone with experience that wants to take in the beautiful scenery and waters of Costa Rica. We also provide snorkeling equipment for those who want to dock at an island and explore the water for the many species of fish, crabs and seashells that these tranquil bays provide. A light snack and beverage is included!
What do you need to bring?
You may be wondering what you need to bring to your surf lesson. Salty Sols will supply you with a rash guard and a surf board—so all you need to bring is your sunscreen!
